  5. Add ginger garlic green chillies paste and cook for a minute. Now add all chopped veggies,salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder. Saute for 30 seconds. Add 1/2 cup water and cook veggies.
  6. Add cooked daal, lemon juice and some water if required. Simmer for 4-5 mins on medium flame. Add coriander. Veggie loaded Daal tadka is ready.
  7. Wash and peel purple yam. Cut into thin chips.
  8. Heat a wok. Add remaining clarified butter. Add cumin seeds asafoetida turmeric powder and chopped purple yam chips. Add salt to taste and mix well.
  9. Cook the chips until done and crispy. Now add red chilli powder, coriander powder, lemon juice and mix well. Garnish with coriander.
  10. Assemble Daal, Rice and chips according to your choice on a plate. Serve with some onions, papad and salad of choice.
