  1. For Dumpling Wrappers: - - For Deep pink Colour: - Mix in together flour, salt to taste, beetroot extract, and mix until you have a shaggy dough. Knead for 4-5 minutes until smooth. Place dough in a bowl and cover with damp cloth. Allow dough to rest for 15 min.
  2. For Light Pink: - Mix in together flour, salt to taste, beetroot extract of 2 tablespoons, water and mix until you have a shaggy dough. Knead for 4-5 minutes until smooth. Place dough in a bowl and cover with damp cloth. Allow dough to rest for 15 min.
  3. Take the dough out of the bowl and knead it again a few times. shape the dough into a ball.   10. Place these onto a steamer and let it steam for about 20-25 min. Remove the dumplings and let it cook for another minute.
  11. Chilli oil: - In a pan add in oil, star anise, cinnamon, peppercorn and bring to a boil for a min, so that the flavors are infused. transfer this oil to a container of red chilli flakes and add in salt.Give a nice stir and let it sit for an hour.
