The ingredients needed to make Biko:
  1. Get 3 cup glutinous rice (malagkit)
  2. Prepare 250 grams coconut milk powder
  3. Prepare 800 ml warm water
  4. Take 400 grams brown sugar
  5. Take 360 ml water
  6. Prepare 1 pinch salt

This classic Filipino rice is deliciously sweet, creamy, chewy, and gluten-free! I went to a small get-together last weekend and had the best-tasting biko on the planet! Biko is a type of sticky rice cake, otherwise known as kakanin. With a combination of coconut milk and brown sugar, biko is a delicious dessert or merienda to share with your loved ones!

Instructions to make Biko:
  1. Wash rice and cook in pressure cooker for 5-7 minutes( water about 1 cm above rice). Leave it a bit undercooked.
  2. Prepare coconut milk by mixing warm water and milk powder
  3. Put sugar and salt with the milk and start boiling until it thickens.
  4. Combine the rice with the thickened mixture and stir continuously until the liquid evaporates. This will take a long time. You must keep stirring to avoid burning.
  5. Place the finished product in a pan and let it cool. (You can oil the pan first for easy removal)
  6. Cut and serve. ^^
