Microcook rice according to package directions. In baking dish layer half the peppers (cut sides up), the rice, drained tomatoes, Jack cheese, and remaining peppers (cut sides down). Preparation Heat the oil in a saucepan and add the onion, peppers and ham and cook, stirring, until wilted. Add the water, bay leaf, thyme, Tabasco, salt and pepper.

  3. Turn your heat down to low and add your brown sugar and flour, cover and allow your beef to simmer, thicken your sauce and get your veggies nice and tender.
  4. Boil your water, once boiling add rice and allow to cook for about 20-30 more seconds and remove from heat. Allow rice to absorb all the water in pot. Once water is absorbed add butter, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  5. Lay rice on plate and pour peppers and beef on top of your bed of rice and ENJOY!

Preparation Heat the oil in a saucepan and add the onion, peppers and ham and cook, stirring, until wilted. Add the water, bay leaf, thyme, Tabasco, salt and pepper. Add celery, peppers, and onion and season with salt and pepper. Stir in rice and water and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce to a simmer, and cook until rice is tender, fifteen to eighteen minutes.
